Europe’s largest construction materials exhibition, BAU 2007, which was held in Munich, Germany last month, attracted a record 209,000 visitors, including 191 from the UAE. With 2,046 exhibitors from 44 countries, attendees from all over the world including architects, planners, construction engineers, building entrepreneurs, building tradesmen, retailers and wholesalers. This is the first time in its 40-year history that BAU surpassed the 200,000 mark for visitor numbers.
