Emirates Extruded Polystyrene (EEP) has produced a product called E-Foam, which it believes will play a major role in the field of energy conservation in the Gulf.
The product is said to reduce the need for cooling in homes by 50-70%.
The insulation reduces heat transfer by stopping warm air from outside travelling to the cooled areas inside buildings and homes.
