Sharjah property developer JMS has launched its US $408 million (AED 1.5 billion) ‘Sharjah Jewel’ development in Al Mamzar, Sharjah.
The new tower will comprise luxury hotel accommodation and office space with views of Al Mamzar Lagoon and the Sharjah skyline.
B+H architects have designed the tower.
Work on the project, which spans an area of 14,576m2, is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2009, with completion set for 30 months after construction begins.
Sharjah Jewel’s location on the Al Mamzar Lagoon in Sharjah places it within reach of much of Sharjah and Dubai.
The ‘hanging’ form of Sharjah Jewel will rise to more than 55 floors. The top 11 floors will comprise furnished residences, connected directly to the hotel, with access to the office tower. The floors below will contain office space.
The development will also include retail stores and restaurants, a beach club and marina and spa.
Previous JMS projects include Lagoon Tower, Riviera Tower, Halwan Villas, Al Badee’ Palace, Sharjah Ladies Club, Sharjah Family Supreme Council and the office of the ruler of Sharjah.
