Palm boss highlights energy saving role of district cooling

Keith Levers, CEO of Palm District Cooling has called on the governments in the Middle East not to ignore the critical role of district cooling in conserving energy

Keith Levers, CEO of Palm District Cooling has called on the governments in the Middle East not to ignore the critical role of district cooling in conserving energy.

“Adoption of district cooling is a viable alternative to conventional air conditioning and can save as much as 50% electricity consumption – that is a figure that is compelling in today’s global energy scenario and this technology can be one of the key tools in reversing global warming while making the world’s fossil fuel supplies last longer,” said Levers.

He made the comments during the International District Cooling Conference, which was held in Abu Dhabi last month.
