Now the construction industry can mix a wide selection of materials with Stow Construction Equipment’s new Collomix, according to the company.
A line of 10 versatile mixing systems makes quick work of everything including grout, concrete, mortar, paint, epoxy and dyes, all in less than 90 seconds. Plus, perfect mixes are completed with even colour distribution and no material clumps. They’re designed for use by those involved in dry wall, remodelling, decorative concrete, flooring, painting, tile, stucco, restoration, and brick laying.
There are six hand-held mixers in the Collomix line. These units are rugged and ergonomically designed to incorporate the natural position of the hands and arms, enabling the operator to maintain an upright body posture throughout.
These powerful single and dual-speed models combine durable gear systems and a practical design for premium productivity. They’re offered in single and dual shaft configurations, ideal for stiff mixes and infinitely more practical than traditional single-speed mixers that lack the torque required for adequate mixing.
Collomix’s four versatile mixing stations are for those who prefer a more rigid unit. These hand-guided models are held in place by a portable stand but still ensure the Collomix can be moved in all directions to reach every corner of the mixing container. The stand is roller mounted, has a five-point standing base for stability, a wide working surface to hold the bucket and can be easily folded for transportation.
The mixing stations are an excellent fit on building projects where the mixing of multi-component materials is needed. Each fits in an elevator and can be moved up stairs easily for work in apartment buildings, hospitals, schools and other multi-story dwellings.
The full line-up of 220/120V, 50/60Hz mixers are lightweight and portable. Each model incorporates forced-action mixing technology for effective mixing from the bottom up, top down or in parallel, depending on the material.
The Collomix mixing systems come with two bucket capacities and a host of accessories, including paddles, bucket trolleys and POP stands. Other standard features include removable steering panels for easy cleaning, guard handles, electronic speed controls, and safety locks to prevent unintentional start-up.
