RNL opens office in Abu Dhabi

US-based master planner of Burj Dubai development looking to improve service to local clients.

US-based architect RNL has officially opened an office in Abu Dhabi.

The Abu Dhabi location is the firm’s fourth office, adding to its headquarters in Denver and offices in Los Angeles and Phoenix.”We have been effectively serving our MENA clients from our USA offices for the past seven years. However, we realise that our presence on the ground in the region will only further improve client service and increase responsiveness.

”The Abu Dhabi area remains a strong market,” Pat McKelvey, senior principal at RNL, said in a statement.

RNL, the master planner of the Burj Dubai development, is working on a number of projects in the UAE, including the Forest of Seih Sdeirah master plan, the interior design for a 300-room hotel in Sharjah, and the design of a 145-room extension to the Al Raha Beach Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

McKelvey meanwhile will be relocating to the region.
