Construction orders in Wales are increasing strongly, according to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
In its construction market survey for the last quarter of 2006, RICS reported that infrastructure and other public works continued to expand strongly, as did private commercial workloads. Private industrial and public housing workload growth slowed but remained solid. Meanwhile, private housing workloads expanded at the fastest pace since the third quarter of 2005.
Across the UK, the growth in construction workloads accelerated to the fastest rate since the second quarter of 2004.
