Scottish firm, BJ Tubular Services has been awarded a contract by Devon Energy do Brasil to provide a range of hydraulic hammer services offshore Brazil. The contract provides for hydraulic hammer-conductor-driving services for all 13 well conductors on Devon Energy’s Polvo field development in Block BM-C-8 in the Campos Basin, near Rio de Janeiro.
Devon Energy is the operator of Block BM-C-8 with a 60% working interest. SK Corporation of Korea holds the remaining 40%.
