Italian energy giant Eni plans to invest to the tune of $7.7 billion in Egypt

Italian energy giant Eni plans to invest to the tune of $7.7 billion in Egypt over the next four years.

This was revealed by the Egyptian Presidential spokesman Ahmad Fahmi after a meeting between the Egyptian President Abdul Fatah El Sisi and Eni’s CEO Claudio Descalzi on Monday.

The Egyptian President also praised the large number of activities the Italian energy giant is currently undertaking in Egypt, the Presidential spokesman said.
