UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention announced 672 new coronavirus cases and one death in its latest update.
The ministry said the new cases bring the total number of detected Covid cases in the UAE to 50,141, while the total number of deaths in the country has reached 318.
The new cases were reported following 54,000 additional Covid-19 tests carried out in the country.
An additional 489 individuals have fully recovered from Covid-19, the ministry said, bringing the total number of recoveries to 39,153.
In a statement, the ministry said it plans to expand the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.
