UAE’s Ministry of Health reported 532 new Covid-19 cases, and that two more people had died as a result of the coronavirus, in its latest update.
The ministry said the new cases bring to the total number of detected infections to 52,600, while 326 people have now died since the outbreak of the pandemic.
The new cases were detected following more than 44,000 new tests carried out across the country, as the UAE intensifies its examination procedures, with officials revealing a plan on Monday to conduct over two million Covid-19 tests during the next two months.
The ministry also announced that an additional 993 patients have overcame the virus, bring the total number to have recovered from Covid-19 in the UAE to 41,714.
