The UAE reported 403 new cases of coronavirus on Saturday, taking the total number of infections in the country since the start of the global pandemic to 54,453.
According to the latest announcement from the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), over 58,000 Covid-19 tests have been carried out across the UAE in the last 24 hours.
Authorities have also recorded a further fatality related to coronavirus, with the death toll increasing to 331.
A total of 679 patients are said to have recovered from the virus, with the number of recoveries currently standing at 44,648.
The UAE Government vowed earlier this week to conduct over two million Covid-19 tests throughout the next two months to further curb the spread of the virus.
