The new contracts were worth a total of AED 225 million ($61.27 million) for the leading super-speciality healthcare provider in the MENA region.
This includes operating and managing five clinics across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain for the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD), two hospitals for Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation Hospitals and the 20-bed Das Hospital for ADNOC.
Saying that these agreements strengthen its position as a key partner to the UAE government, John Sunil, CEO of Burjeel Holdings, added: “These agreements reinforce Burjeel Holdings’ commitment as a trusted healthcare partner in the UAE’s mission to deliver world-class medical solutions.
“We are honoured to contribute to expanding healthcare access and operational excellence, aligning with the UAE’s broader vision of enhancing lives both regionally and globally.”
The healthcare company will provide comprehensive healthcare services, advanced diagnostics, and skilled personnel to ensure seamless operations for the ADJD clinics. The agreement also includes the construction of a new Al Wathba Clinic, enhancing healthcare accessibility in the region.
The two Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation Hospitals that Burjeel will operate and manage are the South Sudan Field Hospital (100 beds) and the Chad Field Hospital (50 beds). These projects will include staffing, clinical operations, and facility management.
At the ADNOC Das Hospital, Burjeel will oversee manpower, clinical operations, facility, and supply chain management. This partnership ensures efficient, high-quality healthcare for ADNOC’s workforce, enhancing medical accessibility on Das Island with seamless referrals to Burjeel Holdings for complex and super-speciality care.
