Two employees of the UAE Ministry of Health have been fired for forgery and breach of trust, a senior official has confirmed.
One employee, who was not named by the ministry, was dismissed after being found guilty by “legal authorities” of copying official documents.
The other, who was also not named, was working in a different medical zone. His contract of employment was also terminated for “misusing his authority as the supervisor of the private medical sector and helping a private medical institution violating the law,” the ministry said.
Dr Salem Abdul Rahman Al Darmaki, acting director general of the MOH confirmed the dismissals to the official news agency WAM.
The employees are able to appeal the decision by approaching the grievances committee working under the chairmanship of the health minister, Darmaki said.
