Ras Al Khaimah’s investment and development office has announced it will be bringing the US-based Tufts University and Methodist Hospital to the UAE.
The news, which comes courtesy of a US $50 million partnership deal, forms part of a plan to boost the emirate’s healthcare sector.
A tie-up with Tufts University will see the opening of RAK-Tufts Enhanced Health and Wellness Centre later this year, which will offer courses in nutrition. A partnership with Methodist Hospital paves the way for the establishment of Methodist Hospital Ras Al Khaimah in 2008.
