American teenage entertainers Jaden and Willow Smith and Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram will be the headline stars during the 18th edition of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), which runs for 45 days from July 23.
Under the slogan ‘45 days Of Summer’ DSS 2015 is organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) and will offer residents and visitors a diverse range of events, from international celebrity appearances and shows to world premieres featuring internationally renowned children’s cartoon characters.
The Smith siblings, who are the children of American actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, will appear as part of the DSS Starz programme from August 13 to 15 and will the duo spending visiting some of Dubai’s best attractions. They will also meet with fans at The Dubai Mall on August 13, and will also take part in the Kids Fashion Fest event.
Nancy Ajram will appear at the Modhesh World Stage on August 24, while Arab teen star Hala Turk will take to the same stage on August 16.
For children, entertainment will be provided by cartoon favourites such as Bugs Bunny, Tweety & Sylvester, Power Rangers, Sonic the Hedgehog and Gumball.
