The sandstorm, named Madar by the Committee for Naming
Saudi Climate Conditions, caused the cancellation of internal flights in the
kingdom, with low visibility on the roads causing schools to close.
The Eastern Province, and Riyadh, Northern Borders,
Madinah are the main areas affected by the storm.
It is believed that the sandstorm that hit the Libyan
desert in the past few days, and then passed through Egypt according to the
head of PME, Dr Abdullah Al Misnd who tweeted that the storm will subdue in the
