Laser Middle East, ART Marine and Volvo Cars Middle East have joined forces to host a six round sailing Grand Prix on the Laser SB3.
Branded as the Volvo Laser SB3 Middle East Grand Prix, the maiden round will start in October this year and conclude with a final at the Dubai International Boat Show in March next year.
The Laser SB3 is the fastest growing sailing fleet in the world and has attracted some of the best sailors including triple Laser World Champion Glenn Bourke.
First Prize for the Volvo Laser SB3 Middle East Grand Prix is a trip to the European Championships in 2008, to be held in Cork, Ireland. www.artmarine.net
