Making its debut in the Middle East is Chyron’s WAPSTR, its new mobile suite. WAPSTR provides the fastest and easiest way for broadcasters to acquire pictures and videos from mobile phones at breaking news locations. Mobile phone pictures and videos can be uploaded directly from the field into a newsroom system, using multi-media technology (MMS) integrated with Chyron’s CAMIO system. Professional reporters and Citizen Journalists can snap a picture or video, and then message it directly into the newsroom.
Also on display will be Chyron’s HyperX with Lyric PRO. Using Chyron’s new interFuse Technology, Lyric PRO allows graphics to be created just the way everyone thinks of them, in pieces. An artist simply merges individual elements to create the final on-air graphic seconds before going on air. Running on Chyron’s HyperX, Lyric PRO provides speed, power, real-time 2D/3D animation and SD/HD switchable capability for all broadcasters’ graphics requirements.
