On the Tek Signals stand at CABSAT, test and measurement provider, Tektronix, will highlight its family of multi-format waveform monitors. The new platform, which underpins Tektronix’s WFM6100, WFM7000 and WFM7100 waveform monitors promises reliability, and flexibility to enable those involved in creating and distributing TV, video and interactive content to achieve the quality levels they require for video production, distribution and broadcasting in mixed-format systems.
Also on show will be Tektronix’s WVR7100 and WVR6100 rasterizers, which provide new troubleshooting and monitoring abilities to solve problems across multiple formats – even from remote sites. Rounding out the CABSAT display will be Tektronix’s MTM400, an MPEG transport stream monitor for broadcasters and network operators who need a scalable solution to detect signal degradation caused during transmission and distribution, preventing viewers from experiencing loss of signal. The platform includes a robust embedded real time operating system and offers several software options.
