The Dubai real estate sector recorded more than AED15bn ($4.1bn) of transactions last week, according to data from the Land Department.

Sales dominated the figures, with AED12.91bn ($3.5bn), according to Land Department data.

In total there were 4,064 sales transactions recorded between August 5 and August 9.

Dubai real estate this week

Among the top listed sales transactions listed on the Land Department website were:

  • An apartment in Armani Beach Residences, in Palm Jumeirah sold for AED48.9m ($13.3m)
  • A second apartment in Six Senses Residences, in Dubai Marina sold for AED28.3m ($7.7m)
  • An apartment in Royal Atlantis Resort and Residences, in Palm Jumeirah sold for AED25.4m ($6.9m)

The Land Department also showed mortgage deals worth AED1.7bn ($463m) last week.

Gift transactions in the same period were valued at AED413m ($112.5m).
