The Dubai real estate sector saw $4.3bn of transactions last week, with two luxury apartments in Baccarat Residences

The Dubai real estate sector recorded more than AED15.9bn ($4.3bn) of transactions last week, according to data from the Land Department.

Sales dominated the figures, with AED11.71bn ($3.2bn), according to Land Department data.

In total there were 2,115 sales transactions recorded between June 24 and June 28.

Among the top listed sales transactions listed on the Land Department website were:

  • An apartment in Baccarat Residences, near the Burj Khalifa sold for AED43.5m ($11.8m)
  • A second apartment in Baccarat Residences, near the Burj Khalifa for AED43.5m ($11.8m)
  • An apartment in Vela by Omniyat, Business Bay sold for AED36.4m ($9.9m)

The Land Department also showed mortgage deals worth AED3.32bn ($904m) last week.

Gift transactions in the same period were valued at AED862m ($234m).
