Dubai villa sold for $20m in Al Barari

It is a sign that the city’s ultra-luxury property sector is showing no signs of slowing down in 2023 and is the highest ever price for a villa in Al Barari.

The $20m home is in AMAIA, a collection of six villas, in what agents labelled the region’s first integrated luxury and eco-conscious development.

Charlie King, Associate Director at Allsopp & Allsopp, said: “We are witnessing an acceleration of inward foreign investment at the very top of Dubai’s real estate market. As someone focusing exclusively on ultra-premium residences, the number of days these properties stay on the market and the amount of viewing (before sale) are more than 30 per cent less than last year.

“International cash buyers continue to dominate the market. They know what they want and still see luxury Dubai residences undervalued compared to key global markets.”
