Qatar real estate transactions hit QAR657m in a week

Sales contracts and residential unit transactions lifted Qatar’s total real estate transaction value to around QAR657 million between 21 and 25 December, official data showed

Real estate transactions in Qatar reached approximately QAR657 million last week, driven by sales contracts registered with the Department of Real Estate Registration at the Ministry of Justice, official figures show.

According to data released by the department, the volume of real estate transactions in sales contracts during the period from December 21 to 25, 2025 amounted to QAR607,769,329.

In addition, the total value of sales contracts for residential units recorded in the Real Estate Bulletin for the same period stood at QAR49,439,497.

Combined, these transactions brought the total trading value for the week to around QAR657 million, the bulletin showed.

Property sales surge across Qatar

The weekly report issued by the Department of Real Estate Registration detailed the types of properties traded during the period. These included vacant land, residences, residential buildings, residential complexes, commercial shops, commercial and residential buildings, a commercial and administrative building, as well as residential units.

Sales activity was spread across several municipalities and areas of the country. Transactions were concentrated in the municipalities of Al Rayyan, Doha, Al Daayen, Umm Salal, Al Wakrah, Al Khor, Al Dhakhira and Al Shamal.

The bulletin also recorded sales in a number of specific areas, including Lusail 69, Al Wukair, The Pearl, Ghar Thuailib, Al Khuraij and Al Sakhama.

The figures were released by the Department of Real Estate Registration at the Ministry of Justice and reported by Qatar News Agency.
