Luxury real estate developer Dar Global has announced plans for two new projects in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh in partnership with The Trump Organization, marking their fourth and fifth collaboration globally.
The announcement comes as the companies prepare to launch Trump Tower Jeddah this week, their third joint venture, highlighting an expanding presence in the Middle East’s largest economy.
The new developments build on the companies’ existing partnership, which includes the Trump International Oman project in the AIDA development. The collaboration reflects a decade-long relationship between The Trump Organization and Dar Global CEO Ziad El Chaar.
Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization, said the projects “will set the standard in luxury for years to come,” citing the success of previous ventures in Dubai, Jeddah and Oman.
“We are proud to expand our collaboration with The Trump Organization and deliver new iconic projects in Riyadh,” El Chaar said in a statement. “These developments will redefine luxury living in Saudi Arabia’s capital and strengthen our presence in this high-growth market.”
Dar Global, which was listed on the London Stock Exchange in February 2023, currently has $7.5 billion worth of projects under development across six countries including the UAE, Oman, Qatar, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Saudi Arabia.
The company serves as the international arm of Saudi developer Dar Al Arkan, which has delivered over 15,000 residential units and holds total assets of approximately $7.5 billion.
Specific details about the size, value and timeline of the new Riyadh projects were not disclosed in the announcement.
The Trump-branded properties in Riyadh will not be owned, developed or sold by The Trump Organization, according to a disclaimer in the announcement. Dar Global will use the Trump name and mark under a license agreement that can be terminated or revoked according to its terms.
