Al Islami Foods, a UAE-based producer of halal products, entered a joint venture with Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders at the recent Gulfood 2007 exhibition. Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment was established in 2002 by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to help develop entrepreneurial skills among young UAE nationals.
The joint venture will aim to establish a strong business-base for young UAE entrepreneurs by offering franchise opportunities, experience of the halal food industry, and by initiating new ventures in the food industry.
