Lulu Retail Holdings has opened a new mini market in Dubai’s Oud Metha area, the company’s 17th store opening across multiple formats (hypermarkets, express stores and mini markets) of the year.
In a filing with Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, Lulu said it is on track to add another three before the year ends, in line with its 2025 store expansion strategy.
The new mini market in Oud Metha spans 3,556 sqft area and is built around a grab-and-go convenience concept. It offers a curated selection of fresh food, snacks, beverages, daily essentials, and ready-to-eat options tailored for quick, on-the-move shopping.
The compact format is designed to deliver a fast and efficient shopping experience.
This latest opening strengthens LuLu’s community-focused convenience strategy and enhances its omni-channel offering.
Together with its subsidiaries, Lulu is the largest pan-GCC full-line retailer by selling space, sales and number of stores, operating 264 hypermarket, express and mini-market stores across the six GCC countries. The Group sources products from 85 countries, enabled by an on-the-ground sourcing presence in 19 countries.
