Saudi Arabia’s Diriyah Company has announced a landmark partnership with Majid Al Futtaim Holding, to bring leading lifestyle and retail brands to the Kingdom.

The collaboration will introduce a VOX Cinemas multiplex and a curated collection of seven premier retail brands to Diriyah Square, the flagship lifestyle and entertainment destination within Saudi Arabia’s Diriyah development.

Under the agreement, Majid Al Futtaim becomes the first major lifestyle and entertainment partner at Diriyah Square.

Saudi retail boost

The new lineup will include global names such as:

  • Lululemon
  • Crate & Barrel
  • Abercrombie & Fitch
  • AllSaints
  • CB2
  • Hollister

The partnership also includes the first standalone retail store in Saudi Arabia for Japanese beauty brand Shiseido.

In total, lifestyle retail outlets will span 5,534.48 sqm, while the VOX Cinemas complex will cover 7,632.93 sqm, bringing the combined footprint to 13,167.41 sqm.

The signing ceremony took place at Diriyah Company’s headquarters, attended by senior leadership from both organisations.

The agreement was signed by Jerry Inzerillo, Group Chief Executive Officer of Diriyah Company, and Ahmed Galal Ismail, Chief Executive Officer of Majid Al Futtaim Holding.

Cinemas in Saudi Arabia

Diriyah Square

Diriyah Company designed Diriyah Square as a pedestrian-centric precinct that connects the world’s finest global brands with authentic Saudi luxury concepts.

Once complete, it will host more than 400 retail brands, luxury boutiques, and dining experiences, making it a key landmark in Riyadh’s growing cultural landscape.

The announcement follows the recent $600m (SR2.249bn) construction contract awarded to Salini Saudi Arabia for the development of Diriyah Square, which will sit above one of the world’s largest underground car parks, with more than 10,500 spaces.

The broader Diriyah development—one of Saudi Arabia’s most ambitious giga-projects—will contribute approximately $18.6bn (SR70bn) to the Kingdom’s GDP and create nearly 180,000 jobs.

When completed, Diriyah will be home to around 100,000 people, serving as a global symbol of Saudi heritage and modern living.
