The UAE is hoping to launch the Falcon Eye 1 satellite into orbit on Thursday following two unsuccessful attempts due to bad weather.
The launch is now scheduled for 5.53am at the French Guiana Space Centre after previous postponements last Saturday and Monday.
The decision was made after announcing that the weather conditions have improved over the French Guiana Space Centre on the north Atlantic coast of South America, state news agency WAM reported.
The satellite is designed to provide global coverage for the next 10 years for military and civilian use and is characterised by a high-definition imaging system and accuracy.
It also has a mobile station capable of sending and receiving images from any region in the world.
Falcon Eye 1 will be the fourth reconnaissance satellite launched by the UAE, bringing the total number to 10 satellites in orbit.
The UAE plans to have 12 satellites in orbit by 2020.
The UAE satellite was built by Airbus Defence and Space and Thales Alenia and weighs less than 1,500kg and will be launched via a Vega rocket by Arianespace.
