Software solutions provider Neverfail has recruited Basem Al Kayyali as its regional director for the Middle East and Africa.
Al Kayyali will spearhead the company’s expansion strategy in the region by working closely with local resellers and distributors.
Previously, he served as regional business development manager for the Middle East and emerging markets at Symantec, where he was responsible for channel development and management. He has also worked in sales, marketing and management roles at distributor Tech Access and IT training provider New Horizons.
“Basem’s proven track record in sales and marketing, together with his strong managerial skills and knowledge of the region make him perfectly suited to join Neverfail during these exciting times for our company,” said CEO Peter Parker.
Al Kayyali said his remit would be to expand the vendor’s coverage of the market. “I am delighted by the appointment and look forward to using my knowledge and experience in this region to further extend Neverfail’s reach,” he said.
