Zain Saudi Arabia reached a break-even point in November as subscribers of the kingdom’s third mobile operator hit 6 million, the company said on Tuesday.
Results showed a break-even in EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) in November, the company said in a statement on the bourse website.
According to the Communications and Information Technology Commission, Saudi Arabia, the Arab world’s biggest economy, saw an increase the number of mobile phone subscribers to 41 million at the end of the third quarter.
A statement distributed by the Riyadh based Saudi press agency said thta the market penetration rate was 162 percent. (Reuters)
