Ban lifted on DAS Air Cargo

The European Commission has removed its ban on DAS Air Cargo, allowing the company to resume European operations.

The European Commission has removed its ban on DAS Air Cargo, allowing the company to resume freighter operations in Europe.

Following the ban last year, DAS Air Cargo underwent a number of changes, including a significant reduction in aircraft and, subsequently, a number of employees being made redundant.

However, it now meets the safety standards required by the European Commission.

“For the first time, carriers have been withdrawn from the blacklist after taking decisive action to remedy their failings. This shows that our list acts not only as essential protection against unsafe operations, but also as a strong and effective incentive for companies who deviate from international safety norms to address their shortcomings,” said Jacques Barrot, vice president of the European Commission.
