Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) has announced its transformative corporate strategy for 2025–2029, aimed at redefining mobility through innovation, sustainability, and customer-centric services.
The strategy aligns with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and the city’s broader vision for a smart and sustainable future.
Under its new vision to become the “Preferred mobility choice for everyone,” DTC is committed to offering digital and safe mobility solutions that cater to the community’s needs for convenience, connectivity, and sustainability.
“It’s a year since DTC has transformed into a public joint stock company, and with the launch of our five-year strategy, we are on the verge of a pivotal transformation aimed at achieving sustainable and comprehensive growth across all aspects of the company’s operations,” said Abdul Mohsen Ibrahim Kalbat, Chairman of DTC.
“Fostering strategic partnerships while providing innovative and sustainable mobility solutions will be our focus in line with the aspirations of the community and support Dubai’s vision for a smart and sustainable future,” he added.
The strategy includes a bold expansion into new verticals such as limousine services and delivery, while maintaining its leadership in the taxi market. With double-digit growth targets and a high dividend payout ratio, DTC aims to set new industry benchmarks in sustainable and innovative mobility.
“This strategy is not just about growth; it’s about creating a sustainable, connected, and smarter future for our customers and stakeholders,” said Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi, CEO of DTC.
Central to DTC’s strategy is a commitment to sustainability, reflected in investments in electric and hybrid vehicles. This move aligns with Dubai’s strategic transportation goals and underscores DTC’s dedication to reducing environmental impact and promoting eco-friendly mobility solutions.
As part of its transformation, DTC has partnered with Bolt, a global shared mobility platform, to launch an e-hailing service in Dubai. This initiative supports the Roads and Transport Authority’s directive to transition 80 per cent of taxi trips to e-booking, positioning DTC as a key player in shaping the future of urban mobility.
The partnership and other strategic moves are designed to enhance customer experience and ensure DTC’s continued leadership in the region’s mobility sector.
