Etihad Cargo has expanded its Southeast Asia network through a new freighter service between Abu Dhabi and Phnom Penh operated in partnership with Teleport.

The service launched during the winter 2025 season will operate two weekly flights using Airbus A321F aircraft, adding 50 tonnes of weekly cargo capacity.

The route operates via Abu Dhabi and provides main deck connections to markets across the Middle East, Europe and the Americas.

The launch was announced at Air Cargo Southeast Asia and marks the latest development in Etihad Cargo’s partnership with Teleport which already includes a joint freighter deployment from Ho Chi Minh City.

Stanislas Brun, Chief Cargo Officer at Etihad Airways, said the Phnom Penh deployment strengthens Etihad Cargo’s presence in Southeast Asia and supports Cambodia’s key export sectors including garments, electronics, perishables and pharmaceuticals.

Jan Philipp Pöter, Chief Business Officer of Teleport said the partnership’s expansion demonstrates the agility of both operators in meeting regional demand, following previous collaborations in Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur and Phuket.
