Flydubai has announced seven new interline agreements, expanding the Dubai-based carrier’s global network and strengthening its role as a connector between East and West.
The latest additions bring flydubai’s total number of interline partners to more than 40, enabling seamless access to over 300 destinations through its growing network of partnerships.
Europe and Asia lead expansion
The new partnerships significantly widen flydubai’s reach in Europe, where customers will now have access to more than 30 destinations through Greece’s Aegean Airlines and Italy’s ITA Airways.
In Asia, passengers travelling to the Far East and South-East Asia gain connectivity to more than 90 destinations via Myanmar Airways International and Chinese airlines Air China, China Eastern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, and Sichuan Airlines.
Enhanced connectivity
Under these agreements, passengers can benefit from single-ticket itineraries and through-checked baggage, ensuring a seamless travel experience.
The deals reflect flydubai’s ongoing commitment to expanding connectivity and facilitating trade and tourism across key global markets.
The airline now operates a network of more than 135 destinations and continues to grow its reach through both interline and codeshare partnerships.
Free flowing trade and tourism
Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO at flydubai, said the new partnerships reinforce the airline’s long-term strategy of building global connectivity.
He said: “Since 2009, we have remained committed to enhancing connectivity and facilitating free flows of trade and tourism, which is why we are pleased to have added seven new interline partners.
“These agreements will provide our passengers even more flexibility and choice when planning their travel, offering access to our partners’ route networks across key markets in Asia and Europe.
“At the same time, more passengers will be able to access Dubai as a leading destination for tourism and business, reaffirming its position as an international aviation hub.”
Flydubai expansion
The move strengthens Dubai’s position as one of the world’s most connected cities and highlights flydubai’s growing importance within the emirate’s aviation ecosystem.
By aligning with major carriers in Europe and Asia, the airline is deepening Dubai’s integration into global air networks and supporting the city’s vision to expand tourism and trade flows.
