Oman Air has announced the launch of direct flights between Muscat and Singapore, with services set to begin on 2 July 2026.

The new route will operate four days a week on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, providing a direct connection between the Omani capital and Singapore. The airline said the service represents its latest expansion into Southeast Asia and is aimed at increasing accessibility and travel options between the two regions.

The launch follows Oman Air’s recent entry into the oneworld alliance, enabling the new route to connect into wider traffic flows through alliance member airlines. These include onward connections to destinations such as Australia, Japan and Hong Kong, offering passengers smoother transfers via partner networks.

Con Korfiatis, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Air, said the route would strengthen the airline’s network and enhance connectivity between the two countries. “We’re excited to launch this new route, which enhances our growing network and strengthens the connection between Oman and Singapore,” he said.

He added: “With demand growing for distinctive destinations and high-quality travel experiences, this service expands choice for both leisure and business travellers. It also reinforces Muscat’s role as an important hub between East and West, enabling efficient connectivity between Asia-Pacific markets and Europe complemented by our oneworld partners.”

Singapore’s Changi Airport also welcomed the new service, highlighting the additional connectivity it will bring to its network.

Lim Ching Kiat, Executive Vice President for Air Hub and Cargo Development at Changi Airport Group, said: “Oman Air’s new direct service to Muscat will introduce an exciting city link to Changi Airport’s wide connectivity network. As a leading global hub, Changi Airport offers travellers access to a wide range of destinations across Asia-Pacific and beyond, while creating new travel opportunities between the two markets.”
