Saudi Arabia’s best and worst-ranked airlines revealed in latest GACA complaint index

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,620 aviation complaints in October 2025, with flynas leading airline ranking and Jeddah among major airports

Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) recorded 1,620 passenger complaints in October 2025, as the authority released its latest performance ranking for airlines and airports across the Kingdom.

The monthly index evaluates both the volume of complaints and the efficiency of service providers in resolving them on time, offering a snapshot of customer experience across the aviation sector.

Saudi airline complaints

Flynas topped all carriers for the month, posting the fewest complaints at 21 per 100,000 passengers and achieving a 100 per cent on-time complaint resolution rate.

flyadeal ranked second, recording 30 complaints per 100,000 passengers and a 99 per cent timely resolution rate. Saudia Airlines placed third with 35 complaints per 100,000 passengers and a 72 per cent on-time resolution rate.

GACA noted that the most frequently reported complaint categories in October were flight-related issues, followed by baggage services and ticketing.

Saudi airport performance

In the category of international airports handling more than six million passengers annually, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah recorded the fewest complaints, with 19 per 100,000 passengers and a 100 per cent timely resolution rate.

Among international airports handling fewer than six million passengers annually, Taif International Airport ranked highest, with one complaint per 100,000 passengers and a 100 per cent on-time resolution rate.

For domestic airports, Bisha Airport led the category, also recording one complaint per 100,000 passengers and achieving a 100 per cent timely resolution rate.
