GFH Financial Group and H Hotels & Resorts Management (H Hotels) have signed an operation agreement for a new five-star hotel in the heart of Manama, Bahrain.

The move is H Hospitality Collection’s first foray into the Bahrain market, adding to the UAE-based company’s collection of luxury hotels and resorts internationally, including: The H Dubai, The H Resort Seychelles, CentreVille Hotel & Experiences Montenegro and Villa Diyafa in Morocco.

Situated at the landmark Harbour Row waterfront project, the hotel, which will boast restaurants, meeting rooms, a pool, gym and other amenities, is almost 60 percent complete.

Progress is also being made on the east and west residential towers consisting of 322 apartments as well as retail and commercial hubs.

Claudio Capaccioli, CEO of H Hospitality Collection, added: “Operating this property in Bahrain is a significant step in our GCC expansion strategy and we look forward to opening more properties in the country.”
