Alpha Holidays has partnered with German medical consultancy firm Star Consultancy to provide tailormade medical tourism packages.
Packages will combine holidays with personalised treatments, varying from health checks or wellness breaks to specialised treatments.
“We want to be a solutions provider – some of the clinics in Germany are already promoting themselves in the Arab market – we will deliver the whole package,” said Ann-Kathrin Borchers (pictured left), sales & marketing manager, Star Consulting.
Star Consulting is currently hand-picking hotels that fit the needs of the Arabic market, in key destinations close to the associated clinics or hospitals.
“Clients don’t know that agents can do this, so they [arrange treatments] directly with the institutions and organise their own travel,” explained Fabian Fernandes, general manager, Alpha Travel & Holidays.
