Chocolate replica of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque revealed

Pastry team at Hilton Abu Dhabi crafts masterpiece to mark Eid celebrations

The pastry team at Hilton Abu Dhabi has crafted a chocolate replica of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in time for celebrations to mark Eid Al Fitr, it was announced on Tuesday.

The hotel’s award-winning executive pastry chef, Praveen Kumar and his team of seven chefs worked for 100 hours, using 130kg of white chocolate to build their largest ever piece of culinary art.

“To celebrate the Holy Month of Ramadan and the occasion of Eid, we have put our skills to the test to create this white chocolate masterpiece! As pastry chefs, we are delighted to see guests from around the world marveling at our creation and the detail we have captured during the build.” said Praveen Kumar, executive pastry chef, Hilton Abu Dhabi.

Hilton Abu Dhabi’s replica of the Grand Mosque, which is the eight largest mosque in the world, is on display in the hotel lobby until the end of Eid.
