Organisers of the Bahrain International Travel Exhibition (BITE) claim visitor and hosted buyer numbers and will not suffer, despite the event running close to other travel-related exhibitions such as ITB in Berlin, GIBTM in Abu Dhabi, MITT in Moscow and ATM in Dubai. Twenty-one new countries are taking part in BITE 2007 and organiser MEEM expects some 20,000 visitors to attend.
