Crouching tiger: Dubailand show-off

Dubailand sales office opens with a bang. And two tigers…

Dubailand has lived up to its reputation of an ambitious project with the opening of its new sales office to the public.

The office is 180,000 sq ft, and features a 3200 sq ft scale-model of the entire development, complete with elevated walkways for a bird-eye view. Two Bengal tigers have also been housed at the office in a secure enclosure.

Earlier this week Dubailand chief executive Mohammad Al Habbai said the office, located on the Dubailand roundabout on Emirates Road, would now be open to the public.

“The headquarters will set new benchmarks for such sales offices in the region in providing investors and visitors with a glimpse of the project’s offerings,” he said.

“The concept of the headquarters is unique with scale models that reflect the innovation and creativity of Dubailand. We are thrilled to share the excitement that all of us experience in translating the vision of Dubailand.

“Visitors to the headquarters will be able to see for themselves the progress being made towards delivering a unique project that will significantly add to Dubai’s positioning as a multi-cultural tourist haven.”
