The daily flights to Bangalore from October 30 will boost frequency to meet high customer demand on the busy route

Emirates has announced its flagship A380 service to operate three daily flights from its Dubai hub to Bangalore from October 30, as it scales up its operations amid recovering air travel.

It is the first time the double-decker fleet is operating in Bangalore’s Kempegowda International Airport. Emirates also operates A380 flights to Mumbai.

The daily flights to Bangalore from October 30 will boost frequency to meet high customer demand on the busy route.

The A380 will operate as EK568/569 with the latest generation of seats, including economy class, premium cabins, business class and first class “boosting capacity on a single flight by up to 45 percent more than the Boeing 777 aircraft.”

Emirates said that travelers to the “Silicon Valley of India” will have seamless options to fly on this route as it joins the network of 30 destinations offered by the double-decker aircraft.

The airline has been operating to Bangalore since 2006 alongside destinations that include Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram.

In addition to its existing services, EK564/565 and EK566/567 will also operate on a daily basis with its modern wide-body Boeing 777 aircraft.

Emirates A380 aircraft currently operates over 30 airports across six continents till August, with a total of over 130 destinations in the airline’s worldwide network.

Emirates to London Heathrow is the leading A380 route operating six flights daily.
