Launched earlier, Gault&Millau brings one of the world’s most established and widely respected fine dining food critique brands to one of the most competitive culinary destinations on the planet – Dubai.
Over a period of nine months, Gault&Millau’s anonymous investigators have been sampling cuisine from various restaurants in the UAE to evaluate and rank the best ones. This comprehensive survey covered over 200 restaurants, including all those featured in the inaugural 2022 Guide, those that fell short of the mark previously, and recently opened establishments.
The findings of these assessments have resulted in the inclusion of 133 restaurants in the Gault&Millau UAE 2023 Guide. This represents an increase from the 130 restaurants that made the cut in 2022. Of the chosen establishments, 21 are located in Abu Dhabi and 112 are in Dubai.

The 2023 restaurant ratings are set to be revealed in an exclusive gala ceremony on April 27, held at the iconic 7-star hotel, Burj Al Arab.
Awards will also be given to restaurant winners across the UAE’s gastronomic scene.
Attendees at the event will also get their hands on the second edition of the Gault&Millau guide.
During the gala event, guests will be presented with a specially curated menu by top chefs and paired fine wines.
