Saudi Arabia has opened a new addition to its entertainment and tourism sector – Via Riyadh on May 11.
This luxurious destination, located in Riyadh, showcases the Salmani architectural style, blending modernity with the Kingdom’s original heritage.
The inauguration of Via Riyadh marks a significant milestone in Saudi Arabia’s journey to enhance its entertainment offerings in 2023.

Built in alignment with King Salman’s core values of authenticity, human-centricity, livability, continuity, innovation, and sustainability, Via Riyadh combines traditional and contemporary architecture.
The emphasis on green spaces reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to a more sustainable future as part of the Vision 2030 initiative outlined by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.
Situated near the Diplomatic Quarter, Via Riyadh features a St. Regis hotel, upscale retail stores, fine-dining restaurants, cinemas, and a theatre for live performances.
Constructed in just 20 months, the opening week of the venue includes captivating live shows and theatrical performances.
Renowned Saudi singer Abdul Majeed Abdullah will inaugurate the theatre on May 18, becoming the first artist to perform a concert in the Via Riyadh area.
It is expected that this destination will become an ideal spot for residents and visitors of Riyadh seeking entertainment in a luxurious and exceptional atmosphere.
Khalid Albaker, CEO of Quality of Life (QoL) Program Center, highlighted the significance of qualitative projects that enhance the standard of life in Saudi Arabia.
“Via Riyadh is one of the distinguished projects in the Kingdom’s capital, as it highlights Riyadh’s identity and provides an entertainment, cultural and tourism experience. It enjoys the follow-up of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority Turki Al-Sheikh, and the support of the Saudi leadership,” he said.
Quality of Life program is one of the vision 2030 programs aimed to improve individuals and families’ quality of life by creating the necessary enablement to improve livability and develop lifestyle options.
The project encompasses exquisite cinema halls, such as the Tuwaiq Hall, characterized by ground seating and a heritage design inspired by Najdi architecture.
Additionally, Via Riyadh offers a range of high-end international restaurants, cafes, luxury fashion and jewellery boutiques, art stores, and a vintage car gallery, providing visitors with an integrated and indulgent shopping experience.
