Some 10,923 companies from 184 countries exhibited at ITB 2007 last month, generating interest from 177,154 visitors. The number of trade visitors exceeded 100,000 for the first time in ITB’s history, with more than 108,000 visitors recorded between Wednesday 7 and Friday 9, a 15% rise from 2006 figures. On Saturday 10, the doors were opened up to 68,419 members of the general public.
