Kerten Hospitality Group launches ‘The Collective’ to bring all its projects in Saudi Arabia under one roof

Ireland-based Kerten Hospitality Group announced launching ‘The Collective’ initiative in Saudi Arabia to bring all the group projects in the country under one umbrella.

The projects envisage a combined investment to the tune of SAR 1.5 billion.

The Saudi Ministry of Tourism has backed the hospitality group’s initiative, affirming the announcement represents an important step in achieving the objectives of the national tourism strategy, through the development of quality hospitality facilities in the targeted destinations around the Kingdom.

Mahmoud Abdel-Hadi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism for Empowering Tourist Destinations, said: “We focus our efforts on supporting the private sector to implement qualitative projects that enhance the quality of supply and contribute to promoting a number of tourist destinations and raising their attractiveness to visitors.”

He said the ministry will continue working closely with our partners such as Kerten Creighton Hospitality, to deliver innovative, exciting and sustainable projects that pay off, further enhancing the Kingdom’s position as a global tourism destination.”

Kerten Hospitality CEO Marlos Knippenberg said the new initiative will enable the group to move forward with such wonderful projects in the Kingdom, which not only showcase the strength of the group’s diversified hospitality portfolio, but also provide a unique opportunity for investors.

“As the hospitality scene continues to evolve in the Kingdom, we believe that ‘The Collective’ will drive growth, create synergies, and provide attractive investment prospects for forward-looking investors seeking to benefit from the dynamic potential of this thriving market,” she said. The Collective aims to accelerate the activation of unique assets across the Kingdom from Asir to Yanbu and Jeddah to Riyadh, Hail and Al-Jawf, and will provide investors with increasing confidence to enter the thriving hospitality market, and enhance cooperation in line with the national tourism strategy.

The group seeks to integrate new projects and also enable cooperation between investors, ministries and government agencies, which enhances the importance of developing projects, providing confidence to investors wishing to enter the sector, and supporting the growth of more qualitative projects in the tourism sector.

The company will also work to enhance the tourist and visitor experience, and inspire travellers to explore its offerings inside the Kingdom. .
