Zaroob, the popular Levant street eatery owned by Kitopi, has announced the opening of two new locations in Bahrain.
The new outlets at Juffair Square and Zayed Town will serve Zaroob’s delicious street food inspired by the old streets of Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, and Syria, the company said in a statement.
Zaroob’s new launch comes after Kitopi’s acquisition of the brand in September 2021.
Since then, it has undergone a complete revamp from its old identity and has expanded into new locations in Dubai and Bahrain.
The brand has also made big moves in the industry, creating the first ‘Impossible shawarma’ in collaboration with Impossible Foods, besides collaborating with legendary ice cream shop Bachir Ice Cream to launch in Dubai with Zaroob.
The company brand manager Elie Saade said the eatery chain is thrilled to be expanding into Bahrain with Kitopi.
“We believe that Zaroob’s Levant street food will be a great addition to Kitopi’s multi-brand restaurant platform and we look forward to bringing our delicious food to new customers in Bahrain,” Saade said.
The opening of new Zaroob outlets is part of Kitopi’s strategy to expand its brick and mortar locations and provide customers with an opportunity to experience their portfolio of loved brands for both delivery and dine-in.
Kitopi operates a portfolio of both owned and franchised F&B brands. It currently operates over 200 outlets (delivery and dine-in) across the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar.
The company runs its engineering hub in Krakow, Poland, its global customer experience center in Dubai, and its robotics hub in Odense, Denmark.
