One of West London’s most exclusive five-star properties, The Mayfair, has undergone a £75 million (US $144.6 million) refurbishment and is more prepared than ever to welcome high profile Middle East guests this summer.

“We have now started promoting the property through our network of travel agent contacts and through the British Embassy,” said Shahdad Jahanbani, regional director of sales – Middle East for the Mayfair, part of the Radisson Edwardian Group. Jahanbani recently moved to Dubai in order to drive Middle East sales for the Mayfair and other UK Radisson Edwardian properties.

“The Mayfair is for High Net Worth individuals and the new facilities and furnishings are stunning and well suit the Middle East market,” he explained.

The hotel’s new contemporary lobby has been furnished with sofas and chairs by international design house Fendi, chandeliers by Baccarat and original artwork bought from destinations worldwide including St Petersburg in Russia.

Sicilian marble bathrooms are a key feature of the standard guestrooms, as well as Bang & Olufsen in-room entertainment, ergonomic workspaces and complimentary wi-fi.

Deluxe rooms feature outdoor terraces while 10 bespoke Signature Suites, comprising one or two bedrooms, boast designer furniture and one has a rotating circular bed. The Azure Suite has its own private lift and CCTV.
