As UAE residents gear up for their summer travel plans, Blacklane, the global chauffeur-hailing service, is expecting a significant increase in demand for luxury transportation services.
According to recent data from Blacklane ME, the company anticipates a 25 percent increase in bookings from UAE travellers this travel season.
“As we approach what promises to be a record-breaking summer travel season, our projected increase in airport transfers is a direct response to the expanding travel market,” stated Nicolas Soucaille, General Manager of Blacklane Middle East.
Last year, airport transfers accounted for 49 percent of all Blacklane rides, indicating a growing preference for convenient and reliable transportation options among residents.
This upward trend is set against the backdrop of major airports bracing for their busiest summer season. According to travel search engine, Wego, the UAE’s outbound travel sector is seeing significant growth for the upcoming season, with international flight bookings increasing by 70.1 percent in February compared to last year. In the coming weeks, Dubai International Airport (DXB) expects over 3.7 million passengers between June 12-25 as schools break up for summer holidays.

They also provide flight tracking, access to VIP gates at Dubai Airport, allowing guests to bypass standard waiting areas and move seamlessly from plane to car.
